The Single Bean mascot, waving hello

At Single Bean, we do one thing, and we do it right. Bean.

In 2016, a small child got into the gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. Fearing for the child’s life, zoo staff shot and killed Harambe, a seventeen-year-old western lowland gorilla. RIP Harambe. It was at that moment that Tony Scoops had a thought: “Every food truck needs a gimmick that sets it apart. What if we sold one bean, and only one bean, per customer?” And thus Single Bean was born.

The truck has been traveling the United States ever since. Over the decade, the menu has grown to include dishes like the Green Bean (a single bean with guacamole on top) and the Dream Bean (a single bean with cinnamon sugar on top, the perfect tasty treat). It has covered hundreds of thousands of miles, stopping only long enough to serve beans, one at a time, before rolling on to the next town.

The Single Bean food truck, serving window open

The Single Bean truck never stays put. We travel the country and will straight up run over a child to get to our next destination. Where will that be? Meh. We don't know. It's different every time which makes it even better when you find us.
